We at O.H. are about opinions, no matter what they are. This is an open community to whatever you would like to say, as long as it goes with the rules.

hello, this is tenchibaka(or oranges, however you like it) and i decree CONTEST TIME!!!!! this club is dying and i don't like that, so i'm holding an idea contest(un-approved i may add) so read on<3

contest; to submit ideas on our next topic, this could be anything from recent changes on deviantart to peculiar things on tv(i saw an interesting documentary on mushrooms the other day)or just a topic of general interest

One day at Woolworths, it was announced that everyone in the store could get free knives as long as they made their way over to the deli fast and were over 21. I found it surprising since media's always proclaiming about terrorism, gangs and all that other good stuff but nope, here's woolworths giving away sharp and pointy knives for free to anyone who wanted them.

Announcements


To avoid sounding like a broken record, I'd like to thank those who've recently posted/commented in our debates. It's great to see them being put to use.

Though there's been another 'break' where you've been left without word or submission, new debates will continue to come up whenever we find time to post them. They may not include the semi-lengthy intro editorial right off the bat, but you'll get something to chew on none the less.

As our lovely club founder stated above, us club admins have work and/or school that [unfortunately] hinders the amount of time we can dedicate to assuring the activity of this club. Just as ~bloodofaunicorn has work, I too (~flameoffiction) have finals. Also, I would like to apologise publicly and personally if I sounded out-of order in my desperate request for submissions and the likes.

There are 3 debate topics drafted and planned for the upcoming 3 weeks, so stay in touch

Hello all! As you've probably noticed, the club has continued in its hiatus. We continue to receive no topic suggestions, preview images, or opinionated art or literature from members/non-members. That, and the club admins continue to do nothing. Still! There are signs of life. Lovely members are still expressing themselves and their opinions through the [scracely submitted] debate topics in our gallery, and we are still receiving joinage requests from uber-awesome Deviants.

The Holidays are quickly approaching and with them semester-exams, vacation, family get-togethers, festive celebrations and all the wonderful work and planning that tags along. There'll be a debate topic in accordance with this subject up sometime next week along with another (not-so-holiday related) debate topic. Also, we'll be on the look-out for preview images for real, meaning we will actually be out looking for deviations relevant to our existing debate topics and requesting use of these deviations as prev-images from their creators. So get your artwork out there! If you've got something you think would make a good prev. image for a debate in our gallery, tell us! And there's a good chance it'll be up there before you can say "oh-yeah!".

Also, since the club has no subscription we usually update 1 journal entry with all our recent news, which..takes up some space. So until further notice, all previous news/announcements of importance can now be found in the club's News Log, allowing more room for news updates without making an obnoxiously huge journal entryO_O

So sorry to all you OH members for the terrible lack of updates! Our new new admin doesn't yet seem to be contributing her fare share and we're still not receiving any Debate Topics or previes images, and admin ~flameoffiction is also in a ditch for the moment and is unable to finish the afforementioned previews for the time being.
New debates are in the making though! And will be submitted asap. For now, hang tight and hope to the gods this hiatus doesn't last much longer


PREVIEW IMAGES for the debates in the gallery that don't already have them will be added sometime next week or late this weekend. Admin ~flameoffiction will hopefully have them finished by then. Still! We impress upon you (the members of this club) the importance of your participation in the club! Create and submit preview images of your own for the club, so we don't just have those of the admins. Share with us and whoever comes by this club your opinions, through art or literature or comments, etc. Don't let your voice go unheard, and don't let this club, a medium with which to share your thoughts and opinions, fade away..

Also, new debate topics and a special topic directed to the Halloween theme will be up sometime next week or late this weekend.

YES! We will soon be announcing the joinage of a new O.H. admin! One who will help us ease out of this ditch and get a bit more active A note to the other admins; please check the OpinionatedHell Message Center "Notes" section and welcome the newest member to the team!
In other news, as I'm sure some of you have already discovered devART is giving away 1 week free subscription trials. And lucky us! We just happened to get one. So! Lets see what we can do with this little 'sub window' of ours shall we?


HOLY LONG TIME SINCE AN UPDATE! Alright. My current Admin's are doing NOTHING ANYMORE! Sheish. I can't do this all by myself I work full time. So, I guess I'm looking for another admin who spends time on DA and is going to be dedicated Instant Message me, xcallthepolice. Until then, continue to send your notes with ideas!
